well...I'm waiting...what an appropriate time of year to be waiting...I am really getting into the spirit of Advent. Aurora is getting a new pastor soon...most likely I will be out of a job and back to wondering - but maybe - by God's grace - I won't have to wonder at all. And so I wait...
Here is a couple of verses that God has given me to pray into during this season:
These are the words of Him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What He opens, no one can shut, and what He shuts, no one can open. I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and not denied my name. -Revelation 3:7-8
I wait with expectation...

what beautiful scripture to meditate on in expectation!i wish i would have read this during advent, but it still spoke today. our congregation dwelled on "o come o come emmanuel" the four weeks leading to Christmas day. I can't believe He's here, but I know it.
thank you for sharing bethany, i love reading.
